Junior Girls Football kicked off at Coburg Districts in 2018 with a competitive U/11 team. 2019 will see further growth with U/9's, U/11's and U/13 girls teams. We welcome all new players to the sport in an all inclusive environment.
Offering both girls and boys the opportunity to learn the basic skills of football in a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Children can participate once they turn 5 years of age. Training sessions are 4.30pm on Thursday afternoon's. - starting April 18th @ 4.30pm
Historic appointment of our Inaugural Senior Women's Coaches
Club President Allan Chandler announced the historic appointment of the clubs first Senior Women's Coaches. Bill Wood will take the helm as Senior Coach whilst Women's Football prodigy Abbie Storer will take on the Assistant Coaching Role.
ANZAC SPIRIT GAME
Join us prior to the main game for a flag raising ceremony and be part of the coin toss hosted by a 96 year old veteran.
Burnside's local RSL will be presenting both clubs with a commemorative trophy for the Anzac Spirit Game, plus there will also be an Anzac Spirit medal awarded for each team’s best player.

Posture Balance an office ergonomic's manufacturer join Insurance Guru McLardy McShane and ANE Electrics as Major Sponsors of the Coburg Districts for 2019. The Posture Balance logo will feature heavily on the Coburg Districts football jumper over all age groups in 2019
The McLardyMcShane Group of Companies is again holding the McLardy McShane Cup-Battle of the Lions between Wahgunyah and Coburg Districts Football Clubs at Wahgunyah on the 23rd March,2019.
Entering the 3rd year of this event, both clubs have embraced the event and look forward to the day in preparing for their seasons ahead as well as contributing to worthwhile charities through the spirit of sport.
This year the clubs will split a percentage of funds between MND Australia and Boys to the Bush which supports the youth throughout regional Australia.
The Mouthguard Man will once again be visiting Coburg Districts on Monday 25th Feb between 4.30 to 6.30pm. Mouthguards must be worn by all players during games.
Coburg Districts Football Club had it's origins back in 1951 with the formation of the Batman Football Club, competing many years in the Northern Metropolitan Football League Club. 1981 saw a name change to Coburg Districts and entry into the Essendon District Football League. The Club has a proud history that see's many of the founding families still associated with the running of the Club.
With continued population growth within the Inner North, the Club now host teams with men's, women's, boy's and girls football teams. Adding to the array of teams Auskick is also offered for the young to learn the basics of football.
With the support of the EDFL, AFL, Moreland City Council and tireless commitment from members the Club prides itself on offering an inclusive environment for all to participate. We welcome all new members and players who abide by our 'Code of Conduct' policy.
